Unveiling of EVRMC’s New Malasakit Center in Barangay Bagacay, Tacloban City.

The government handed over a budget of 15 million pesos for the first operation of our very own Malasakit Center. This is President Duterte’s way of upholding his advocacy in help- ing the people who have no financial capacity to pay for their medical treatments and medicines.

The Malasakit Center is inspired by President Duterte’s Pagkalinga sa Bayan program when he was still a Mayor of Davao City. This is thus, the second center in the Visayas after Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center’s launching last February 12, 2018 in Cebu City. Other target sites will soon to open in various DOH retained hospitals in the Visayas by the of end 2018.
